Zoning

The first record on the tape to go for 3 verses, 'Zoning' was produced by Xperiment. It was one of the last records I worked on before the release and one of my favorites on the project. The best instrumentals sort of tell you whats supposed to be on them. "Can we make lighting Strike Twice.." literally came out of thin air after running the instrumental back only a few times. After that the words just kept flowing.The verses on this one aren't for loose listeners at all; I made sure I planted gems in there. Most importantly that song was therapeutic for me, a lot was going on at the time and really digging in with that song helped get me back on track in pretty much every aspect of life.

“That ‘89 Campaign still goin strong/ on the edge of goin insane still holdin on / Soldiered long so the globe would know my song/ sold the farm to harvest that raw shit and I poured it on/ Thick”
