Lo and Behold (The Intro)

This song was crafted over one of the two Instrumentals I received from a producer named Dusty Beats. Dusty's catalog was like a diamond in the ruff back in the day when I had to scour Myspace pages for talented beatmakers to work with. When I heard the beat, what got me first was the vocal sample at the start. "We move, we run. Into the galaxies of space we come. In search of the dream." It put an image in my mind similar to how at the beginning of every Star Wars movie theres the 'Galaxy far far away' intro with the scrolling yellow writing. It just set the tone for the whole project and that was really powerful to me. Once the beat drops its a pretty simple but classic drum pattern underneath a dope piano sample and that erie flute. When I was writing I really wanted to get to the heart of how it feels to be an artist or work on something you love and not get the response you want or find yourself hitting a wall; more importantly I was writing to inspire (myself mostly) and convey that if you love what you're doing and go as hard as you can, eventually you'll get through any obstacle in the way.
