The track for 'Curtain Call' was made by a producer named Midas and was one of the easiest tracks for me to ever write. Great instrumentals do that. When I heard it, it was the right time and my mind was in the right place. Growing up I played a few different instruments settling on sax when I was 8 and sticking with it until I graduated High School. During those years especially in Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band, being on stage and showcasing the skills I'd been working on was a real highlight for me. I would get a rush from doing solos and every time was a real cathartic and therapeutic experience. The canvas Midas set kind of took me back to that. Making 'Curtain Call' also helped inspire me to get on my job as far as tailoring my live performances and making my stage work a priority.
